To find peer-reviewed articles from the CSN Libraries search engine, follow these steps:

  1. Start by accessing the CSN Libraries homepage at library.csn.edu where you can use the main search bar labeled "Search for books, films, articles, and more..."
  2. Type-in your keywords related to the topic of interest into the search box and hit enter.
  3. You will get a page of search results where you can begin to browse the titles for what may be useful to your research.
  4. On the left-hand side, there is an option to add "filters" to your search. These will help you to narrow down the results. Click on the filter labeled "Peer-reviewed journals" to refine your results to include only articles that have undergone expert review.

Searching from the CSN Library's main search bar will give you articles from all of our databases at once. If you prefer searching within one specific database, you can browse our list of databases by clicking "Browse Databases" on our homepage. Popular databases are EBSCO Complete, ProQuest Central, and Opposing Viewpoints. These databases offer similar filter options to help you narrow down your search results and focus exclusively on peer-reviewed articles.
